Local regulations require real-name registration before you can use data in Hong Kong or Taiwan. Internet access stays restricted until your registration is complete.

When you arrive, you will receive an SMS inviting you to register, and you can use the link in that message. You can also register in advance from the page above before you travel. For use in Taiwan, you can register even before installing the eSIM. For use in Hong Kong, you can register once the eSIM is installed, even before it is activated. We recommend registering before you leave, so that you are not left without data on arrival.
If you will use the eSIM in both places, please register for each one separately. Note that you will not receive an SMS confirming completion. Once the form is submitted successfully, you are done. If you enter an email address, the result will be sent to you by email.
